Acoustic Hangers are only available from us in boxes of one hundred. They can be purchased in two different sizes: 35mm or 70mm. This product is used to enhance the acoustic sound properties of suspended ceilings. They effectively reduce the intensity of vibrations from the floor above and help to prevent noise passing to adjoining rooms. Their design is simple; they merely act as a small bridge between the ceiling and the suspended ceiling wire. They should be fixed to the metal joists but can be used for timber joists if attached using the correct fixings. They are zinc plated for maximum strength. It is one of the least intrusive methods of sound insulating your ceiling.
