The Baumit Plastic Base Profile 100mm is designed to protect the underside of the first row of Baumit insulation board. It should be mechanically fixed to the substrate level with the damp proof course for best effect. This provides the horizontal line for the installation of the panels and reinforcement of the bottom edge of the insulation system. Baumit Plastic Base Profile has a 100mm thickness and comes in lengths of 2 metres. It not only provides a solid foundation for the fixing of Baumit insulation boards but also helps stabilise the exterior to prevent cracking.
