Although Standard (FEC) channels are the most commonly used, Deep Flange (DL) and Extra Deep Flange (EDL) versions are available for partitions over 4200mm high and 8000mm high respectively, or in situations where deflection head details, improved impact resistance and easier skirting fixing are required. From April 2010, British Gypsum replaced the standard edge floor and ceiling channel (C) with a new folded edge product (FEC). Complies with EN 14195.
