GypWall RAPID dB PLUS internal wall system with Gyproc SoundBloc RAPID linings has been developed specifically for use with the GypWall RAPID dB PLUS internal wall system, offering not only acoustic insulation but also impact and fire resistance. The device comes with two installation options: 900mm stud framing noggins and 450mm stud framing noggins, both of which are simple to install and have a Rw value of 40dB. The system can be used in residential dwellings' internal wall constructions, but careful attention should be paid to determining the location of services during the frame erection stage, as well as the system's possible loss of acoustic insulation efficiency due to structural steelwork.
