The Danfoss Randall valve body is used in two-pipe heating systems. The valve is made of brass and nickel-plated. Chromium steel makes up the pressure pin of the gland seal, which functions with an O-ring seal that has been lubricated for life. Without emptying the system, the entire gland assembly may be changed. The valve comes with a grey protective cap that may be used for manual regulating during the building stage. It is forbidden to use the protective cap as a manual shutoff mechanism.
