Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish is a high-performance stone sealer designed specifically for natural slate surfaces. A protective sealer that produces a long-lasting, crystal clear satin finish that can enhance natural colours and provide a stain-resistant coating. Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish dries quickly and is simple to apply. It is also appropriate for porous natural stone such as limestone and sandstone. Most importantly, it provides high-quality protection that prevents stains and general grime & dirt from penetrating the surface, making it easier to clean and maintain. The amount of coverage will vary depending on the type of surface application, but it should be up to 15m2/litre per coat. Available in 5L and 25L. HOW TO APPLY: 1. Remove any loose debris from the work surface before beginning your work, and make sure you have adequate personal protection, such as gloves , proper protective eyewear , a face mask , and appropriate clothing. 2. The surface must be completely clean and dry before applying, and the weather conditions must be desirable before proceeding. 3. Use the Satin Essential Slate Sealer to seal the slate. Finish thinly and evenly with a low-pressure sprayer , micro-fibre mop , paintbrush , or soft cloth , being careful not to leave application traces or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute. 4. Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. Repeat the process, but this time apply the product in the opposite direction to create a consistent finish. Multiple coats can be applied if necessary to achieve a "gloss" finish. PLEASE NOTE: Essential Slate Sealer Satin Finish may alter the color/appearance of some surfaces; always test the product in an inconspicuous area before using. Surfaces that will not be sealed should be protected with masking material. This product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone.
