Stone Care for You Essential Slip-Stop is a long-lasting anti-slip treatment that minutely treats ceramics, porcelain, and natural stone with mild acid solutions to greatly improve slip resistance on wet floors. Essential Slip-Stop can be used on ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone floors, as well as showers, to improve slip durability on wet floors and, in the long term, to prevent slip-fall collisions. It should not be used on surfaces such as vinyl, linoleum, wood, metal, or paint. Available in 2.5L and 5L. HOW TO APPLY: 1. Perform a small test application in an inconspicuous area on-site prior to use, following the instructions below. This will indicate whether or not the product is appropriate for your surface. DO NOT PROCEED if the product is unsuitable for your needs; instead, contact us to return it. 2. Determine that the surface is clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. Apply Slip-Stop to the affected area in small sections. A mop , sponge , or dry cloth can be used for this. Allow for 3-10 minutes to stand after agitating the wet surface with a stiff brush . Do not let product dry on surface. 3. If required, reapply. When you've finished with one area, thoroughly rinse it with water before moving on to the next. Maximum slip resistance is achieved in 3-10 minutes, depending on the hardness of the mineral surface. 4. Action time: 3–10 minutes: Ceramic/Porcelain tiles, shower trays, and baths Natural Stone & Masonry (5–10 minutes) because the above times are only guidelines, a test patch must be completed before use to determine the action time (dwell period) required. IMPORTANT NOTE: Slip-Stop can cause permanent damage if accidentally spilt or applied to sensitive surfaces, such as metals, painted surfaces, woods, glazed surfaces, and so on.
