The start time, interval and length of irrigation are set in just a few simple steps. The battery-operated control unit is weather-resistant and detachable. Potted plants in particular have a limited soil volume due to their planters, so they need short irrigation cycles. Ideal for use in combination with the Gardena Micro-Drip System for efficient drip irrigation. Practical additional functions on the garden irrigation system make it easier to use such as the ‘Water Now’ function which allows uncomplicated water withdrawal outside the programmed watering times (ideal if, for example, only one bucket of water is needed). If the battery level is too low, the ‘Safe Water Stop’ technology ensures that the next irrigation cycle is not started. Easy operation: LCD screen, removable battery-operated control unit (9V battery, not included) and programming via turn and push feature. Water control can be combined with the separately available Gardena Soil Moisture Sensor for efficient as well as water-saving irrigation as the sensor detects whether the soil is still moist enough and suspends a scheduled irrigation if necessary.
