When built with the GTEC Shaftwall system, pressure changes likely found in deep shafts and voids are resisted. The GTEC CH STUD is Used as an integral part of GTEC Shaftwall systems in multi-story buildings, preventing continuous routes for the spread of fire. This stud is used in combination with GTEC E Stud and associated GTEC J and/or U Tracks. Together it allows for the full installation of a system from one side of the shaft, completely eliminating the need for scaffolding.
