Grown for its colourful winter stems, this spectacular is also cloaked in green foliage throughout summer. Cornus sanguina bears tiny white flowers in summer which are followed by glossy black berries. By autumn the foliage turns to a fiery shade of red before falling to the ground to reveal spectacular orange, yellow and red stems. A superbly versatile, deciduous hedging plant for year round interest. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2.5m (8'). Planting distance: 30cm (12”). (4 plants per metre for a single line hedge).
