Surface Preparation |
Surfaces must be clean, dry, in sound condition and free of oil, grease and other surface contamination including any preparation residue e.g. blasting, sanding etc. before applying Owalak.

Application |
Stir product well before and during use. Do not thin unless otherwise indicated. Apply 2 or 3 even coats allowing drying time between each coat. Optional Brush/Roller application – 5% Marine Oil may be added to the 1st finish coat. Spray application – 5% Marine Oil or White Spirit may be added to ease application.

Clean Up |
Clean all tools and equipment with white spirit while still wet. If allowed to dry, remove with paint stripper.

Things to remember |
Protect everything you do not wish to coat. Apply between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). Substrate temperature should be between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). Ensure substrates are at least 3°C above dew point. Do not apply in direct sunlight or to hot surfaces (35°C+). Surfaces must be fully dry before applying any coating. Do not apply if cold and/or wet weather is expected within 24 hours. Use appropriate protective clothing e.g. gloves, goggles, mask etc.
