The ThruVent Tile is a means of incorporating ventilation within the roof slope at high or low level. They can also be used for soil pipe connection or mechanical ventilation. Available in 4.5k and 8.8k capacity dependent on the tile or slate.  Please note this 4.5k ThruVent is suitable for use with Redland old hollow clay pantiles. ThruVent ThruVent Tiles are available for all our profiled tiles and slates (see redland thruvent info table image). They are also available for concrete Plain Tiles. However, they are not available in Rosemary Clay, Heathland or DuoPlain where a RedLine Vent should be used. ThruVent components The ThruVent Tile is manufactured in concrete with a PVC ventilation unit and cap. The caps are colour co-ordinated to the colour of the tile base - Slate Grey, Tudor Brown or Terracotta. The Plain Tile ThruVent consists of a 3 tile moulded unit, a small tile unit, batten support brackets and clips. Each ThruVent Tile is supplied with an Underlay Seal (polypropylene - black). Flexible Pipes are available for connecting to a 110mm soil vent pipe or mechanical ventilation duct. Please note this is not supplied with the ThruVent. Certification The components of the ThruVent Tile comply with BS EN 490: 2011, BS 5250: 2011, BS 5534: 2014 and BS 5572: 2000.
