The true-zero end hook can move independently of the tape by up to the thickness of the hook, meaning the measurement is accurate whether the end hook is butted to a surface, or hooked onto an edge. By using 3 rivets, rather than 2, the end hook is even more durable. Armour on the first 100mm of the blade reduces the chance of breaking. Features a belt clip.
