SupaSoft from Thermafleece has been manufactured out of nearly all recycled plastic bottles and 100% from recycled polyester. The environmentally friendly non-itch loft insulation roll is safe to handle without PPE equipment or a dust mask, making it ideal for DIY jobs and domestic trade projects. Another benefit of SupaSoft is that it’s designed for application insulating roof spaces, floors, between rafters and in walls, so it can be laid on top of pre-existing fit-for-purpose insulation. The 100% recycled polyester has no harmful chemicals, binders or adhesives so it’s perfectly fine to install in many applications with no PPE gear. It’s white in colour and the non-woven open material allowing water vapour to pass through to the insulation, allowing a long-life where it’s installed. SupaSoft offers 0.040 W/mK thermal conductivity and up to a 40dB reduction so it’s good for thermal and acoustic reasons.
