It is also 50% quicker to install than lead, is fully malleable, can be worked in both directions and is self-sealing if punctured. Ubiflex is not susceptible to thermal movement, this allows aprons up to 12m long to be formed without seams or expansion joints which means there is less wastage than with traditional materials.
