Visqueen EcoMembrane 250mu is a damp proof membrane manufactured from 100% recycled polyethylene. Visqueen Damp Proof Membranes form an effective barrier to the passage of moisture from the ground. When installing Visqueen EcoMembrane the DPM must be continuous with the damp proof course in the surrounding walls. Care should be taken to ensure that the membrane is not stretched or displaced when placing concrete or screed over the membrane. Visqueen EcoMembrane DPM is suitable for use below concrete floors in accordance with clause 11 of CP 102:1973, where there may be capillary rise of moisture but not where it may be subject to hydrostatic pressure.
