To increase the lifespan of the recessed block paving manhole cover, the lifting keyways have all been reinforced as standard to avoid any distortion that may result from lifting the cover. Designed for heavy duty areas, the gross laden vehicle weight of this manhole cover is 44 tonnes and the small moving wheel load for pneumatic tyres is up to 11 tonnes.
